Hirth 3503 70 horsepower water cooled aircraft engine - Recreational Power

Recreational Power, the U.S. distributor for the Hirth line of aircraft engines unveiled their latest additions the 3502 and 3503. These engines have been specifically designed so that they will mount right into an aircraft currently using a Rotax 582.

The 3502 produces 60hp at only 5000 rpm while building an impressive torque of 62 ft lbs. at 4750 rpm. The 3503 produces 70 HP at 6500 rpm and 57 lbs of torque at 6000 rpm.

The engines are available in both carbureted or optional fuel injected versions, oil injection is also available as an option.

Weight for a complete engine package, which includes engine, gear box, electric start and exhaust is just over 100 lbs.

Various exhaust and gear box ratio combinations are available. Factory recommended TBO is rated at 1200 Hrs. @ 75% power.
