Birdman Enterprises Ltd. of Nisku, Alberta began
producing kits of the Chinook in 1983.
They were available as the WT-11-277 and the WT-11-377 which
was powered by a 36hp(27kW) Rotax 377.
It is constructed of aluminium alloy tube with Dacron
