The EZ Flyer was introduced in
the early 90's by Blue Yonder Aviation of Alberta Canada.
Wayne Winters the designer and manufacturer of the EZ Flyer
mated a set of Merlin wings to his rather unique open air
fuselage to give a bugs in your teeth type of flying
experience. |
|
|
The fuselage features welded 4130 chromoly steel
tubing, while the wings use aluminum D cell construction
with foam ribs. The wing uses a Clark Y airfoil and Junker
ailerons, which make the EZ Flyer a very docile handling
aircraft. Ideal for the weekend flyer of flight training
schools. Power was
originally supplied by the Rotax 503 and 582 engines. Newer
models can be powered by the Rotax 912, 80 and 100 horsepower
four stroke aircraft engines. |
