Invader Mark III ultralight, experimental
lightsport, amateur built aircraft.
Eagle Aviation Services,
Eagle Grove, Iowa
Mark IIII is a true pioneer ultralight design that pre-dates
the adoption of FAR 103 back in the early 1980.
It was a
collaboration of effort by Nick Leichty and Rick Berstling
of Sarasota, Florida.
This sleekly designed, cantilevered wing, three axis
controlled, aileron & ruddervator, Mylar covered, pusher
aircraft flies very much like the old Ercoupe.
powered by a 14 hp 215cc Yamaha golf cart engine this design
is much too appealing to let fall into obscurity.
