The Mitchell Wing U2 is a single place part
103 legal ultralight in the United States. It is a flying
wing using any Rotax 277, single cylinder 28 hp Rotax engine
in a pusher configuration. The aircraft is constructed of
wood and fabric. While it features three axis control, it
uses wingtip rudders and ailerons for steering in the air.
Pitch and roll is controlled by half span elevons. It has a
double surfaced cantilevered wing.
It uses a tricycle landing gear, with a steerable nose
wheel. |
