A couple of things that one
notices about the Tecnam Bravo is that is an all metal
aircraft and that it has a cantilevered or strutless wing.
Access to the cabin is quite easy, and when sitting in the
seats visibility is excellent with a full view of the tail
section through the rear cabin windows.
The seats are quite comfortable, and can be adjusted for
various pilots heights. The instrument panel can be decked
out with whatever the pilot desires. |

Preflighting the Tecnam Bravo
is easy with all of the control systems and linkage visible
and easy to get at. The engine compartment features large
doors that open up to allow access for inspection. The Bravo
also has a very large storage area directly behind the
seats.
Ground handling is via a
steerable nosewheel.
Powered is supplied by the
100 HP Rotax 912S aircraft engine. Lift off with flaps comes
in at just below 45 kts in about 500 feet. Best rate of
climb is 80 knots giving a 1,000 per minute climb rate.
Cruise at 5200 rpm is 115 knots. With stall coming in with
flaps at 40 knots.
This is a high wing, two seat side by side
seating, high performance airplane that was designed for
serious cross country flying and flight training.
With a useful load of 610 pounds, a huge baggage area and
superb Light Sport Aircraft performance, the Tecnam Bravo
stands ready to convert every flight into an exciting
adventure. |
