Light Sport Aircraft Pilot is a directory of aircraft that generally fit

a certified Light Sport Aircraft as a kit or ready to fly.
The Legend Cub is an advanced aircraft based on the popular
original Piper J-3 Cub. ?Cubs are recognized around the

A variety of options are available including choice of
interior, avionics, paint, engine, wheels, floats, lighting,
propeller, and more. A new Legend Cub comes complete with a
12-month warranty.
The Legend
Cub is similar in appearance to the J 3 but represents an
evolution in design and construction, enhancements include a
100-horsepower Teledyne-Continental piston engine, an
electric starter, and modern instrumentation. Options
include a BRS parachute, Baumann floats, Garmin avionics,
and a flat-panel display."
The
Legend Cub is designed to meet Light-Sport Aircraft category
certification requirements. It has a maximum gross weight of
under 1,320 lbs as a land plane. With optional floats, the aircraft is
capable of water takeoffs and landings. |
