The new owners of Powrachute Corporation were at
Airventure 2005 with their newest model of powered parachute called
the Airwolf 912.
The Airwolf 912 features the Rotax 912 S 100 HP
engine which provides an additional 35 HP over the Rotax 582 which
translates to a substantially increased climb rate of over 1200 feet
per minute, better fuel efficiency, and five times the TBO of a
Rotax 582. |
Additional
advantages include altitude compensating carburetors, and electric start,
are standard equipment. The Airwolf is available
with both a 500 and 550 chute, and comes factory built ready to fly.
Standard features include four point seat belts, oversized chute bag, EIS
engine monitoring system, oil cooler, quick disconnect wiring system,
extended foot bars, electric fuel pump, spun aluminum wheels and various
airframe powder coating colours.
The Airwolf comes with a "dual quad shock absorber
system" which features eight shock absorbers, four on each side of the
craft.
Large Tundra tires, a ten gallon fuel tank, and a five
blade 62 inch Powerfin propeller are also standard equipment.
