If you are
looking for the perfect gift for an ultralight pilot or
enthusiast you can't go wrong with a new DVD being put out
by Chuck Clay.
The DVD is nearly 60 minutes long and presents ultralight
aircraft as what they are, true grass roots, affordable, fun
flying aircraft.
Chuck shows over 60 aircraft from the Golden Age of
ULtralights - the mid 80's. His shots show a packed Sun N
Fun, with vendors elbow to elbow.
He also has some vintage footage of the ultralight float
base at Paradise City which has not been duplicated since. |

"As a
filmmaker and pilot, I became so enthralled with this sport
that simply filming the action wasn't enough, so I had to
get in on it." Which he did with the purchase of a Mitchell
Wing and then an award winning Kasperwing.
Chuck
presents a
historical documentation of the "vintage" years of
ultralight aviation showcasing some of the "best of the
best" aircraft designed to fit into the ultralight category.
Chuck also shows footage of aircraft that were never seen
again like the Greenwood Witch, The Invader, The Maxair
Hummer, The Minibat, The Mirage, the Superwing U-2, The P-38
Lightning, The Nomad, The Aerotique Parasol, The Tomcat, The
Wren, The Wizard L-3B, The XTC, The Zenair Zipper, and The
Hudson Thing.
This DVD
is a real collectors item, I should know - for over 30 years
I have been capturing ultralight aircraft on film, and Chuck
has shots I would love to have to add to my collection.
