At Sun N Fun
2010 Fisher Flying Products introduced their Muk Tuk wood
float kits. All of the material for the float kits are CNC
machined, and all fiberglass materials are included.
Currently the float kits are available for aircraft with a
gross weight of 750 lbs. with a 1400 lbs gross float in the
design and development stage, which should be ready for
introduction by Oshkosh 2010.
Building times for a float are only 30 hours, with a set of
floats weighing in at around 60 lbs! Fisher also offers
custom mounting hardware which will be developed for each
float installation. |
