Fredrick Scheffel CEO
of Power Fin took sometime out of his busy
schedule to give us an update on his companies newly acquired production rights to
the Power Fin Propeller line.
Power Fin closed it's doors in August of 2009, Frederick was
winning bidder of three for the production rights. He then
moved the production into a 3,000 square foot facility at
the Wharton Airport. Currently over 70% of the production is
being shipped overseas. Four Power Fin models are
currently available, the E type blade for power packs and
small ppc's. The C blade made specifically for powered
parachutes. The B blade for airboats and fixed wing
aircraft. |

The F blade which is
universal in nature and fits a variety of applications
including fixed wing aircraft, airboats, hovercraft, trikes
and gyrocopters. For owners of
older model Power Fin propellers the factory can supply
replacement blades, but requests that the prop be sent in
for balancing.
Power Fin is currently in
the development of a wind turbine generating system for home
applications. The system if working full time can actually
earn about $100.00 per month plus supply electricity for the
average size home.
